Revision may not be a learning objective as it is just to help student to be more familiar with the knowledge. However, revision is not a new concept or knowledge, right??

在接近一個學期完結及考試的來臨，學生可能會要求將課堂變為溫習堂，而不希望老師再教授任何新的知識
課堂中的確有溫習的必要
回覆刪除有時教新的概念或技巧的時候可能是base on一些舊有知識
如果當時學生已經忘記了那些舊有知識就去學新的新識
一定會事倍功半
如果是這樣的話...適量的溫習是必要的
目的是為了更有效率地學習新的東西
不過溫習應該是達到另外一些目的的過程,而不是一個學習目標
(說到有點像中化科答問題的感覺XD)
In my opinion, revision is a kind of learning objective. For example, most teachers will use some lesson to do revision before exams or uniform test. Clearly, the objective of those lessons is revision. Moreover, in Mathematics, there are some lessons called “複習課”. The objective of this kind of lesson is to let students consolidate the knowledge that they learned in previous lessons by doing some exercises.
